Abstract
The Castor&Pollux project, led by the Ri.MED Foundation, aims to advance the characterization of 3D cell models through multi-omic analyses, including genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics, metagenomics, and single-cell technologies. It focuses on generating high-resolution, matched multi-omic datasets to better understand cellular complexity and heterogeneity. The project supports regenerative medicine by studying organoid models and 3D cell cultures. By integrating advanced sequencing platforms and computational analysis, Castor&Pollux seeks to create a reference center for multi-omic data, fostering the development of computational pipelines that improve understanding of biological processes and support precision medicine initiatives within the D3 4Health framework.
