21 March 2025: Wrapping Up an inspiring COSTAction Meeting in Palermo!
March 21st 2025 marked the fourth and final day of the COST Action CA20117 MyeInfoBank meeting, with working group session where brilliant minds came together to exchange ideas and spark scientific collaborations, focusing on “Converting molecular profiles of myeloid cells into biomarkers for inflammation and cancer“.
This EU-funded initiative brings together researchers, bioinformaticians, and clinicians to identify novel markers of myeloid cells in diseases associated with chronic inflammation (DACI). With -omics technologies generating massive datasets—many still untapped—our goal is to curate, integrate, and reuse this wealth of information to uncover new biomarkers, ultimately validating them through access to bio-banks.
