The Cell Factory group is developing an advanced therapy medicinal product (ATMP) based on multivirus-specific polyclonal T cells (MVT cells) for autologous and allogeneic use, for the treatment of infections refractory to conventional antiviral drugs.

Multivirus-specific T lymphocytes are produced by stimulation with mixtures of antigenic peptides derived from EBV (Epstein-Barr virus), CMV (cytomegalovirus), ADV (adenovirus), and BK virus (polyomavirus) to treat post-transplant viral complications in immunosuppressed patients.
