Park Art Fest 2025 – The scientific method: the colors to see the invisible

The fourth edition of the Park Art Fest ended last night in Carini where again this year the Ri.MED Foundation enthusiastically participated with the laboratory “The scientific method: the colors to see the invisible”.

50 budding little scientists were introduced to the  5 steps of the scientific method — observation, hypothesis, experiment, analysis and conclusions — with a hands-on approach by enjoying two colorful activities:
The rainbow tower – to observe and the phenomenon of the density of liquids and understand how it is possible to stratify them devoid of mixing.
The milk rainbow – to find out how soap breaks surface tension and makes “dance” colors in milk.

It was a special occasion to bring the little ones closer to science through curiosity, games and hands-on experimentation. The diffusion of scientific culture through educational programs with schools and the local community involvement is one of the objectives of Ri.MED, which the Foundation carries out with particular passion in Carini, home of the upcoming Ri.MED Research Center.

Ester Badami, Lara Di Leonardo, Chiara Maringhini, and Nadia Consiglio deserve a big thank you for making this shared and discovery moment a reality!
